“I’M ALIVE!” – lying to myself.
Disgrace attaches to my name
And worms are eating on my fame.

Forget! Forget the day
When healing sunshine had its way
Into the cracks of broken hearts,
Into the depths of thrust-through arms.

You’re holy, just the way You are,
But my sins led me astray too far.

Don’t Let My Heart Rot

Your word is my hope
That keeps me believing.
On the bloody, sharp slope
It keeps me from slipping.

Your word is a thread.
And my life still hangs.
And hope isn’t dead.
I’ve ripped out all doubts’ fangs.

Don’t let my heart rot.
Don’t let me let go.
Your love is a joy.
You’re what I live for.

Death is Where It All Begins

And life is where it ends.

The end will give me my first breath.
And life – a suffocating collar.

Please, take my hand and walk with me.
I found the end of misery.

There is a different life, you’ll see.
In a life without countdowns you’ll be.

I am miserably unsatisfied.
There’s got to be more than a prayer,
More than a song,
More than a Sunday service.
There’s got to be more of You.

And if I worship, then let Your presence come down.
And if I preach, then let You Spirit speak.
And if I pray,then let the gates of hell shake.
There must be more of You.

Не вижу я тебя.
Алмазные твои глаза
Сокрыты от меня.

Земля, вертись быстрей!
Я жду ее, мою звезду.
Когда замечу, ты остановись
…И я сойду.

Дальше мне по воздуху
К звезде моей идти.
Она ждет меня и я спешу,
К звезде моей хочу.
