At present, Gottfrid Stenroos is driving off-roads and on rocky places on a 17 year old car with the mileage over 300,000 km. Right now, the car is in a very bad condition and is dangerous to be driving to the tribes located many hours away from civilization. To buy a new car, we need $10,000.

Every mission trip is like the first one and every time its incomparably different and interesting. The last mission trip to Tanzania wasn’t an exception. It was the worst and the best mission experience of my life so far.
The first, worst side started on Sunday, the day before departing to Africa. Strange things started happening. I got sick. In a moment I began feeling weak but didn’t give it much attention. The next morning I started coughing, didn’t look like a big deal at all. I had an important flight in three hours, so I didn’t even give a thought about canceling such an opportunity, and that was the right choice no matter how unimaginably bad it got later on!

Hey, Friends!
If there’s anyone who would like to support me financially for the mission trip to Tanzania, Georgia, and Turkey this October, I and God would really appreciate it!
I need a minimum of around $2,500. You can get in touch with me via e-mail: vadimakoyed@gmail.com
Here’s what we are going to be doing in those countries:
In Tanzania, we are going to feed the hungry again. Its really bad this year there. 100 kg cost 22 dollars, last year this price was in late October, this year its already so in August when the harvest isn’t done yet.
Then we started building houses for widows with a lot of kids (6-7.) Gonna check on that. We also gonna go to the church we built there in the Barbaick tribe. We will preach there, show The Passion Of The Christ movie in Swahili… That tribe will be transformed for Christ. We will go to some other tribes that are in critical situation. More

Kid in a Barbaick tribe with a burnt arm
Every human being needs to go on a mission at least once in his/her life. I’m not talking about going to LA or Las Vegas for missions, but going to the places where our help is a critical part of people’s daily fight for survival.
After seeing the lives and conditions in which Barbaick tribe in Tanzania, Africa live, something happened to me on the inside. My world was shattered into millions of pieces. I saw those weak little children with swollen stomachs because they just don’t have any food or water. In some cases, tape worms deprive these innocent children of the little nourishment they receive. I could sense death laughing at them, longing to take another one. It is extremely hard to live in that cursed land.
Here in America our pets live hundreds of times better than the beautiful children who lack food and clean water. Many will painfully die not even reaching the age of five (1 out of 6 children).

With a 4th, 16-year-old wife of Barbaick man who is about 50 years old
Statistics tell that this year suicides in USA doubled due to this “crisis.”… Crisis? Than what kind of crisis is in Africa? We so love to talk about our problems letting fear takeover. Instead, I think we need to smile more. No matter what, we can’t let some things steal our joy and happiness. But if we don’t have anything to live for it is impossible. Helping others is the most beautiful thing that brings great joy into our lives.
We have only one chance at life. If we burn out fast as candles, then let us burn out bright!

Kids on the streets of Ranchi in India
Missionary trip to India in May 2008 was my first mission experience. Since it was the very first time and a country I have never been to, I had no idea what to expect from it all.
When we arrived at the airport of New Delhi I thought to my self “Radical!” Everything was totally incomparably different to our America; culturally and mentally.
I watched a lot of movies from India where I saw joy, energy, and happiness of Hindu people. They were dancing and singing, but when I physically “dived” into their atmosphere I found depression and poverty like a curse upon all the people.
Mostly, it is all because of their beliefs. People have thousands of gods that they are afraid of. Bringing them last bits of food, they starve to death themselves.
Their gods aren’t like our God. In India gods are to be afraid of, when we can love our God, be friends with Him, we can trust in His mercy and grace.
And so this atmosphere of fear drives people to do amateur things. Nasty streets are filled with “holly” cows that walk pridefully around. They feed cows, but starve themselves. Fear paralyzed their minds to think progressively and break down the heritage of constant hunger, sickness, and death. Poor people are tired of failing to breakthrough to freedom they’ve never met.
