Grace: The City of Refuge

Thousands of years ago, God commanded Moses to build six cities of refuge. This is what they were for [Read Numbers 35:23-29]:
If a person accidentally had killed someone, the avenger of blood had all rights to kill the one accused of murder, even if a person killed someone not on purpose. However, in any of the six cities of refuge, no avenger had a right for any kind of revenge. Behind the city walls, the accused one was safe. Yet, if a murderer walked away from the limits of the city, avenger of blood had all rights to kill him.

That law still works today in our lives. Here’s how: More

Christianity Shouldn’t Be An Advertising Agency

Romans 6:23

Romans 6:23

Yes, Christianity shouldn’t be an advertising agency, but a lot of times this is the very thing it reminds me of. Advertising agencies make sure people hear only what they would love to hear. They make sure people see only what people would love to see. Ads never point out negative sides of the product. They bring out only bright and beautiful sides.

Christianity shouldn’t be an advertising agency where what people would love is written with biggest letters and the most important information is written with the smallest letters. True Christians shouldn’t be afraid to shout out the truth from the roof tops, because this is what truth deserves – to be known and never  ashamed of.

Christianity Is For Strong People!

Christianity is for strong people.

For over 2000 years they’ve been burned, beaten, murdered, crucified, fed to lions, laughed at, slaughtered… but the love of Christ keeps on burning in their hearts to this day.

Authentic Christ followers – fanats (fans) stayed through centuries in love and complete dedication to Jesus. They changed the world down side up. They conquered kingdoms for God. They never let go what they admired and believed in.

Fans these days… they move with the crowd and almost every month they have somebody new to worship and admire. Authentic fans aren’t like that. They stay committed ’til the end, even if that might cause them a suffering or even a life. During the last days only these authentic fanats of Jesus will be able to stay true to their values and to love of Christ. More

Back To How It All Supposed To Be!

When we honestly worship God, something incredible happens. Time begins to shift; from present reality into the state of being of how it all supposed to be from the beginning. When we worship God, it is as if we go back to the beginning when God just created man and everything was perfect. Problems, sweat, pain, hurt – it all didn’t exist.

When we worship our God in truth and in Spirit, we take ourselves back to how it all supposed to be, because during worship God does miracles. During worship pain runs away, God reveals how to deal with certain life situations and problems, depression changes into happiness, life comes closer and closer to the perfection God intended for His children. SELFCONTROL: for uncontrollably blessed future! + Notes

SELFCONTROL: for uncontrollably blessed future!

Proverbs 25:28 Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.

Many of us, teens and young adults, need to begin rebuilding the city walls of our character! Others need to start building these walls for the first time. Apostle Poul told Titus to continuously encourage young men to be selfcontrolled.

Titus 2:6 Encourage the young men to be self-controlled. (original: sober minded, sane, right minded)

The mistakes we make today is what will make our lives harder tomorrow. Selfcontrol is what prevents many regrets and sorrows of the consequences of not sober actions. We are no zombies, therefore should be able to control ourselves when it comes to sin or when the enemy wants us to eat the fruit of death. More

What You Have Is Who You Are! (A Note For Thanksgivers)

Some time ago I was talking to my God and I said, “You are so good to me. You care for me and You guide me every day of my life. You did so much for me, but how can I give you thanks for all that You’ve done for me? But what can I do for You?” And Jesus answered, “Give Me yourself!”

As we give thanks to our God, especially during these holidays, let us not forget to ask Him what we can do for Him as a thanksgiving. If He will say, “Give Me yourself,” would you say “Yes! Here I am!”? Many people say “yes” without fully understanding such dedication. Many say “yes” to God but never want to part away from what they have because what you have is who you are. When you dedicate yourself to God, you literally dedicate everything you own as well; if not – its not a sincere dedication! More

… Because I Love You!

Some time ago, for no particular reason this short phrase came into my mind, “… because I love You!” At that moment I was thinking of God.

I wish to do many things for my Savior but have pure love as my biggest and the only motivation. Sadly though, in the deepest corners of my heart, there were times when I would find wrong reasons for my good deeds. There were times when that pushing power was pride, or selfrighteousness, or man-pleasing. This fact made me angry because I hated it as I kept finding myself unchanged.

In my sober mind I have made a solid decision that whatever I do from now on will be “because I love Him!” So, now whenever I preach, sing, work, or write, I do it because I love Him! I put all my deeds before this phrase “… because I love You!” This puts everything to its place and uncovers the truth about my actions. More

False Messengers

Today, many people call themselves Christians, even if they aren’t necessarily trying to follow everything Jesus commanded. As Christians, we are all messengers/witnesses that fall into one of the two categories – false or true messenger.

Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere.”

So many people say that Christians are the people that are full of pride, selfishness, and greed. I especially made sure of that after doing interviews of random people on the streets for ‘A Voice’. So many people have a wrong view of Christianity just because someone called himself a Christian and was a false messenger. Not necessarily by words, but by actions he had redefined the true meaning of this word for someone. Imagine if John the Baptist didn’t explain God to people correctly or if Apostle Poul misunderstood Him, just like church during Dark Era… More

Desert Is My Home!

This message is for all Christ followers with a burden from above to change this world down side up.

After studying the lives of some of the most influential characters of the bible and Christianity; Moses, Apostle Paul, John the Baptist, Jesus, and more, I found that we are the strongest at our weakest and we are the highest at our lowest. This is when I opened up my heart to except “desert of my life” as my home.

Moses lived in the desert. When we read the bible we can find that he met and received a direction from the Almighty in no other place but the desert. After deciding to follow God, his most exciting life was lived in that seemingly forsaken place. Moses was one of the greatest leaders of Israel that was closest to God than any other human on earth. He served God and fulfilled his destiny in the desert. More
