“I’M ALIVE!” – screaming to myself.
“I’M ALIVE!” – lying to myself.
Disgrace attaches to my name
And worms are eating on my fame.

Forget! Forget the day
When healing sunshine had its way
Into the cracks of broken hearts,
Into the depths of thrust-through arms.

You’re holy, just the way You are,
But my sins led me astray too far.
